ABOUT:

In September 2021, the first Ecumene Congress on sustainable development in the financial sector was held in Moscow under the auspices of the United Nations. The event was a great success, top speakers from all over the world took part in the discussion sessions of the 2 days intense business programme.

The Congress was supported by companies representing large Russian businesses and also UN, UNEP, UNEP FI, UNDP, UNIDO, FAO, UN Global Compact and many others. The results of the discussions were presented at the 15th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Kunming (China) and the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Glasgow (COP26), which contributed to the progress of our country on the path to opening free access to attraction of "colored" financing from international capital markets. The mission of the Forum is to include Russia's position in the global agenda of sustainable development also bringing together all participants in the modern financial system, with the aim of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

On September 28-30, 2022 the Ecumene 2022: Global Financial Forum will be held in Moscow, as part of a three-day rich business program, it is planned to further discuss the issues identified during the Ecumene Congress. The leading speakers of the Forum will have the opportunity to present their ideas as part of the business program of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), which will be held in Egypt in 2022.

The Forum's mission
